Heel pain is the most common condition I see in our office. Heel pain occurs in one out of seven adults. It happens to just about everyone in their adult lifetime. As we walk, wear shoes, or work in different environments, we get heel pain. Whether it’s due to having feet that are flat, or feet that are in bad shoes, or if you tend to do activities that we have not done before, you can get heel pain. Heel pain can be solved. It’s not something you have to live with. You don’t have to get out of bed in the morning and then have this sharp, stabbing pain that makes it difficult to do the things you need to do.
When you come in, we will x-ray you, examine you, have you walk, and perform an ultrasound exam on you to find out what the problem is and treat it. Treatment is usually conservative, meaning it doesn’t involve surgery. 95% of the time, heel pain can be reduced or completely eliminated in a short while. Come to us to solve all of your heel pain problems.
